CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, eMedia shareholders
are advised that the following change has been made to the composition of the eMedia board of
directors (the "Board"):
Hendrik Carse Appointment as Independent Non-executive Director
We are pleased to welcome Mr. H.J. Carse ("Hein") to the board of eMedia as an independent
non-executive director.
Hein joined Rupert International in 1996 and continued to serve the Remgro Limited ("Remgro")
group in the capacity of an Investment Executive of VenFin Limited until November 2009, from
where he then served as an Investment Executive of Remgro and served on various boards in
which Remgro held an investment. Hein served as a director of eMedia Investments (Pty) Limited
from September 2007 representing Remgro. He has gained extensive knowledge through holding
positions on various boards and committees during his career.
The Board welcomes Hein and looks forward to the impact of his skills and expertise.
