Shareholders are referred to the article published by Business Day on 30 July 2026 titled
"Standard Bank and Pepkor open exploratory talks over personal banking tie-up".

Pepkor notes the contents of the article and wishes to confirm that the Company is not
engaged in any discussions with Standard Bank (or any other bank) regarding a personal
banking tie-up or any other strategic partnership, as reported.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that there is no information requiring disclosure in terms
of the JSE Listings Requirements and are cautioned against placing reliance on the article.

Pepkor remains focused on developing its banking offering, which forms an important
component of the Pepkor Group's broader financial services strategy, and will continue to
