CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT



Shareholders of Mahube (“Shareholders”) are advised that it has received a non-binding expression of interest
from a consortium, of which the chief executive officer of the Company, Mr Gontse Moseneke, is a member,
(“the Consortium”) to acquire all of the Company’s ordinary shares in issue not already held by the Consortium
and its members (“the Proposed Offer”). Discussions with the Consortium have commenced and, if successfully
concluded, the Proposed Offer may have a material effect on the price of the Company’s securities. Accordingly,
Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a further
announcement is made.


The board of directors of the Company (“the Board”) accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement as it pertains to the Company. To the best of the Board’s knowledge and belief, the information
contained in this announcement is true and nothing has been omitted which is likely to affect the importance
thereof.
