DECLARATION OF PREFERENCE DIVIDEND NUMBER 30
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, 09 April 2021, Netcare declared a preference
dividend (Number 30) of 287.95890 cents (gross) per preference share for the period
from 1 October 2020 to 31 March 2021, payable on Monday, 10 May 2021 to holders
of the preference shares recorded in the books of the Company at close of business
on Friday, 07 May 2021. The preference dividend has been declared out of income
reserves.
In compliance with the requirements of Strate, the following dates are applicable:
Last date to trade “cum” the preference dividend : Tuesday, 4 May 2021
(“LDT”)
Date trading commences “ex” the preference : Wednesday, 5 May 2021

Record date : Friday, 7 May 2021
Date of payment : Monday, 10 May 2021
Preference share certificates may not be dematerialised nor rematerialised between
Wednesday, 5 May 2021 and Friday, 7 May 2021, both dates inclusive.
In terms of the Dividends Tax, the following additional information is disclosed:
1. The local Dividend Tax rate is 20%;
2. The net local dividend amount is 230.36712 cents per preference share for
shareholders liable to pay the Dividends Tax and 57.59178 cents per preference
share for shareholders exempt from paying the Dividends Tax;
3. The issued preference share capital of Netcare is 6 500 000 preference shares
as at the date of declaration; and
4. Netcare’s tax reference number is 9999/581/71/4.
