CHANGES TO THE BOARD: APPOINTMENT OF MR I MALEVU
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and paragraph 6.39
of the Debt Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that the board of directors
(“Board”) has approved the appointment of Mr Isaac Malevu to the Board as a non-executive
director, with effect from 22 June 2021.
In terms of the replacement BEE transaction, Eyesizwe (RF) (Pty) Ltd is entitled to nominate four
individuals for consideration as directors to the Company’s Board. After carefully considering the
nomination received from Eyesizwe (RF) (Pty) Ltd, the Board is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Malevu.
Mr Malevu is a registered chartered accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered
Accountants and is the current Chief Financial Officer of the Industrial Development Corporation
(“IDC”). Before joining the IDC, he was an audit partner at EY and then joined Standard Bank
Corporate Investment Banking as finance executive.
The Board extends its congratulations to Mr Malevu and looks forward to his valuable contribution
to the business and his commitment to the Company during his tenure.
