ENDED 28 FEBRUARY 2025 AND AVAILABILITY OF THE INTEGRATED ANNUAL
REPORT



1.   SALIENT FEATURES

     Operating profit before tax increased by 32% to R17.740 billion, from R13.448 billion in
     the prior year.

     Headline earnings per share increased by 30% to 11 912 cents per share, from
     9 171 cents per share in the prior year.

     Earnings per share increased by 30% to 11 911 cents per share, from 9 156 cents per
     share in the prior year.

     Total dividend per ordinary share increased by 34% to 6 510 cents per share, from
     4 875 cents per share in the prior year.

     The net asset value (total equity) increased by 17% to R50.914 billion, from
     R43.531 billion in the prior year.

2.   DIVIDEND DECLARATION

     Capitec's ordinary dividend policy is to pay out 55% of headline earnings. A final gross
     dividend of 4 425 cents per share (2024: 3 345 cents per share) was declared on
     23 April 2025, bringing the total dividend for the 2025 financial year to 6 510 cents per
     share (2024: 4 875 cents per share). There are 116 099 843 ordinary shares in issue.

     The final dividend meets the definition of a dividend in terms of the Income Tax Act, Act
     58 of 1962. The dividend amount, net of South African dividend tax of 20%, is
     3 540 cents per share. The distribution is made from income reserves. Capitec's tax
     reference number is 9405376840.

     Last day to trade cum dividend - Tuesday, 13 May 2025
     Trading ex-dividend commences - Wednesday, 14 May 2025
     Record date - Friday, 16 May 2025
     Payment date - Monday, 19 May 2025

     Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised from Wednesday,
     14 May 2025 to Friday, 16 May 2025, both days inclusive.
