RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT – API BUSINESS


Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released by Aspen on 9 September 2021, and
its subsequent renewal of 21 October 2021, in which shareholders were advised that Aspen had received
two unsolicited offers for its active pharmaceutical ingredient business (“API Business”)(1). This
announcement also confirmed that Aspen had decided to embark on a structured process to facilitate
offers for all or parts of its API Business from those parties that submitted the unsolicited offers and other
selected interested parties.

Shareholders are advised that this structured process remains ongoing and may have a material effect on
the price of Aspen’s securities if successfully concluded and accordingly shareholders are advised to
continue exercising caution when dealing in Aspen’s securities.
