DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY THE COMPANY
In order to align executive interest with that of shareholders, the board of directors of Life Healthcare (“the
Board”) agreed with the incoming Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Peter Wharton-Hood (“the CEO”), on his
appointment, that subject to the CEO investing R5 million in the Company’s securities, the Company would match
this investment with the purchase of shares to the value of R15 million (“Matching Investment”). The Company
matched the shares, which are subject to specified performance conditions measured over a specific period of
time.
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Life Healthcare shareholders are hereby advised of the
following dealings in securities by the Company.
