Mr Griffiths has been acting as Interim CFO since 17 July 2023 and has in this role overseen the preparation and announcement of both the interim and year-end financial results. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a B Comm (Acc, B Acc and M Comm (cum laude). Mr Griffiths re-joined ArcelorMittal South Africa in 2018, having previously worked for the company for 14 years (1998 to 2012). He has over 25 years of experience in business, which includes experience in management, financial and executive leadership roles, spanning a wide range of financial disciplines, including auditing, financial reporting, controlling, mergers and acquisitions and business optimisation and transformation. The Board of ArcelorMittal South Africa is satisfied that Mr Griffiths has the necessary knowledge of the steel industry and the Company, as well as the qualifications, expertise and experience to fulfil the role of CFO effectively.
