DECREASE IN HOLDINGS OF SECURITIES BY DAYMER LIMITED ("DAYMER")

In accordance with section 122 of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 and section 3.83(b) of
the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Purple Group
has received formal notification in the prescribed form that Daymer's beneficial interest in the
securities of the Company decreased as a result of an increase in the issued share capital of
the Company, such that the total beneficial interest in the securities of the Company held by
Daymer is now 4.99% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notice
with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
