Vodacom Group shares issued to Mr Jorge Mendes, the Chief Officer: Commercial Business Unit,
through the company’s forfeitable share plan, have vested. Mr Mendes is a director of
Vodacom (Proprietary) Limited (Vodacom South Africa), a major subsidiary of the company. Mr Mendes
has sold 6 135 Vodacom Group shares, the details of which are more fully described below:
