APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Shareholders are hereby informed of the appointment of Lyndsay Ronald Maseko CA (SA) as an
Independent Non-Executive Director and member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Company
effective 17 November 2021.

Qualifications: BCom Accounting: University of Johannesburg (UJ)
                BCom Hons Accounting and CTA: University of Johannesburg
                M Com Auditing: University of Johannesburg

Lyndsay is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ntsimbintle Mining Proprietary Limited, the
investment holding company and majority shareholder of South Africa’s biggest manganese exporter
(Tshipi e Ntle Manganese Mining). Prior to taking up the position as CFO of Ntsimbintle Mining Proprietary
Limited, he served as the Audit Committee Chairperson of the BEE consortium, Ntsimbintle Holdings
Proprietary Limited, a holder of various mining interests, predominately in manganese.

Lyndsay is a passionate academic and remain active in the academia via his shareholding, directorship and
facilitator at APT, SAICA’s largest accredited professional programme provider. Prior to joining Ntsimbintle
Mining Proprietary Limited, Lyndsay gathered over 12 years of experience in developing and presenting
various academic and professional programmes. In 2008, Lyndsay was appointed UJ’s first Black Chartered
Accountant (CA) qualified lecturer and since then, has lectured all four accountancy disciplines, three of
those at postgraduate level. During his time at UJ, Lyndsay served as a member of the UJ Tender
Committee and as part of the Executive Committee of Accountancy at UJ department, heading the
portfolio “transformation and decolonisation”.
