This facility allows Nampak to sell on a non-recourse basis a portion of its accounts receivable balances at terms that are beneficial to the Group. The utilisation of this facility will be used to repay debt and will count towards the existing requirement to reduce interest-bearing debt of at least R1 billion by 30 June 2022, thereby reducing risk and the potential need to sell other productive assets at prices below fair value. During October 2021, an amount of R206 million has been utilised against this facility.
