APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE BOARD

In terms of paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, noteholders
are advised that the Board of Directors of Growthpoint resolved to invite Mr Melt Hamman to join
the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director, effective 14 September 2021.

Mr Hamman is a Chartered Accountant and former CEO of Attacq Limited. He will serve as a
member of the Audit and Property & Investment Committees and will Chair the Audit Committee
when Mr R Gasant assumes the Chairmanship of the Board on the retirement of Mr Marais at the
upcoming AGM on 16 November 2021.

The Growthpoint Board welcomes Mr Hamman to the Board and looks forward to his contribution.
