NAME CHANGE FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the results of annual general meeting announcement released on the Stock
Exchange News Service (‘SENS”) on 28 July 2021, wherein Altron shareholders were advised of the
approval of the special resolution in relation to the Change of Name.
The Company has received confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission
(“CIPC”) of the registration of the special resolution for the Change of Name. The Change of Name of the
Company will change from Allied Electronics Corporation Limited to Altron Limited, the ISIN number -
ZAE000191342 and JSE share code - AEL will retain history (“Change of Name”).

Trading under the new name on the JSE Limited (“JSE”) commences on 25 August 2021.

The salient dates and times relating to the Change of Name are set out hereunder:
