TRADING STATEMENT – 2021 INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Steinhoff Investments is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steinhoff International Holdings N.V.
(“Steinhoff N.V.”) and is the issuer of variable rate, cumulative, non-redeemable, non-
participating preference shares with a capital value of R1.5 billion. The preference shares are
listed on the JSE.
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required
to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results
for the next reporting period will differ by more than 20% from those of the previous
Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the six months ended 31 March 2021 by
management has indicated, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that:
• earnings per ordinary share is expected to be between 4 500.0 cents and 5 000.0 cents
compared to the loss per ordinary share of 24 187.2 cents in the previous corresponding

reported on by Steinhoff Investments’ auditors. Steinhoff Investments financial results for the six
months ended 31 March 2021 are expected to be released on SENS on or about 18 June 2021.
