TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to
publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results
for the next period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from the financial results for
the previous corresponding period.
The Wesizwe board of directors therefore wishes to advise shareholders that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that, for the six months ended 30 June 2025, the Company expects
to report:
- Earnings per share ("EPS") of between 12.31 cents and 14.09 cents, representing an
increase in EPS of between 39% and 59% compared to the restated EPS of 8.88 cents
reported for six months ended 30 June 2024, noting the previous published EPS of 7.36
cents ("Previous Comparable Period"); and
- Headline earnings per share ("HEPS") of between 12.31 cents and 14.09 cents,
representing an increase in HEPS of between 39% and 59% compared to the restated
HEPS of 8.88 cents reported for the Previous Comparable Period, noting the previous
published HEPS of 7.36 cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based, has not been reviewed and
reported on by the Company's external auditors.
The Company's interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025 are expected to be
published on or about 31 March 2026.
