INITIAL TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading
statement as soon as it is reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be reported on
will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, a review by management of the financial results for the interim period ending 31 August 2026
has indicated that earnings per share (“EPS”) and headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) are expected to
increase by more than 20% to at least 11.28 cents, compared to the EPS and HEPS of 9.4 cents reported for
the interim period ended 31 August 2025.
A further trading statement will be released once the Company has a reasonable degree of certainty about
the likely range of the expected increase in HEPS and EPS for the interim period ending 31 August 2026.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
the Company’s auditors.
