UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 6.26(a) of the JSE Listings
Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading
statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
results for the period to be reported upon next will differ
by at least 20% from the published results for the previous
corresponding period.
Accordingly, further to the trading statement and trading
update announcement released on SENS on 13 March 2026 and in
accordance with paragraph 6.31 of the JSE Listings
Requirements, York shareholders ("Shareholders") are hereby
advised that, for the six months ended 31 December 2025, the
Company expects to report the following updated earnings:
- earnings per share ("EPS") of between 14.81 cents and
15.60 cents, being a decrease of between 54.03% and 51.58%
when compared to EPS of 32.22 cents* for the six months
ended 31 December 2024 ("Previous Comparative Period");
and
- headline earnings per share ("HEPS") of between
14.57 cents and 15.28 cents, being a decrease of between
52.49% and 50.18% when compared to HEPS of 30.67 cents*
for the Previous Comparative Period.
* Restated. A detailed assessment of, and impact arising from
the restatement will be included in the results for the six-
month period ended 31 December 2025, which will be released
on or about 31 March 2026.
Shareholders are advised that the information included in
this announcement has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Company's auditors and is the responsibility of the directors
of the Company.
