RETIREMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY: MR AG JOHNSTON

Shareholders are advised that per the requirements of paragraph 6.71 of the JSE Listings
Requirements and having reached normal retirement age in accordance with the rules of the
Company’s provident fund, Mr AG Johnston has indicated to the board, which has agreed, that
he will retire and step down as the Sun International Company Secretary on 31 March 2027, in
order to allow for sufficient time to identify and appoint a suitable successor and ensure a
smooth transition of the role.

Andrew who is an admitted attorney and Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, joined
the Sun International group in November 2016 and has been responsible for overseeing the
legal, company secretarial, compliance and risk segments of the business. He has also played
an instrumental role in the development of corporate governance in South Africa as well as
offshore.

The board takes this opportunity of thanking Andrew for his significant contribution which he
has made to the Sun International group over the last, almost, decade and wishes him well in
his future endeavours.
