informed that Brian Kennedy, an independent non-executive director of Absa Group, has been
appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee, with effect from 1 November 2026.

Brian is the chairman of the Group Credit Risk Committee and serves as a member of the Group
Risk and Capital Management Committee and Information Technology Committee.
