APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Mr Greg Booyens has been appointed as an alternate director to Mr Geoff Jennett, a
non-executive director of Transcend, with immediate effect.
The appointment as an alternate director is in respect of both Mr Jennett’s position as a non-
executive member of the board, and his role as a member of the Investment Committee.
Greg is a qualified CA (SA) with over 15 years’ experience in finance and operations management,
9 of which have been in the South African listed property sector. Greg completed his articles at PKF
in South Africa and thereafter spent eight years in the United Kingdom where he gained experience
in the financial services sector. Greg joined Emira Property Fund Limited (“Emira”) on 1 January
2016 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Emira.
The Board welcomes Greg in his new role and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
