UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023

Shareholders are advised that, for the year ended 31 December 2023, an updated trading statement is
required to reflect the exclusion from Total Headline Earnings per Share (HEPS) of R73.5 million pre-tax
insurance proceeds relating to the destruction of property, plant and equipment in the Denny fire incident.

The update does not impact any previously disclosed information regarding the Group's trading overview,
including Normalised EBITDA, Total EPS, Normalised EPS and Normalised HEPS, which all remain
unchanged from the announcement dated 26 February 2024.

The Group now expects to report Total HEPS between 46.6 and 48.8 cents per share, compared to the prior
year HEPS of 45.0 cents per share (representing an increase of between 3.5% and 8.5%).

Libstar's Group results for the year ended 31 December 2023 will be published on 15 March 2024.
