Proposed appointment of new external auditor

Shareholders are advised that as PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. has held the position of external auditor
of the Company and its subsidiaries for longer than ten consecutive years, the Board has resolved to
review the position so as to ensure compliance with the mandatory audit firm rotation requirements
prescribed by the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors.

In terms of section 90(1) of the Companies Act No. 71 of 2008, as amended, and paragraph 3.86 of the
JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the Board will propose, for approval at the next annual general
meeting of shareholders, scheduled for June 2022, that KPMG Inc. and designated partner D Read, be
appointed as auditor of the Company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 28 February 2023.
