Interim Dividend of 28 US cents per ordinary share
(Dividend no 37)

Amounts per ordinary share in Sterling and Euros

Further to the announcement of 30 July 2020, the equivalent of the
dividend detailed above, in Sterling is 21.6327 pence per share and in
Euros is 23.7959 Euro cents per share based on exchange rates of US$1 =
£0.7726 and US$1 = €0.8499.

The US$:£/€ conversion rates were determined by the actual rates
achieved by Anglo American buying forward contracts for those currencies
during the two working days preceding this announcement, for delivery on
the dividend payment date.

As announced on 30 July 2020, the equivalent of the dividend in South
African Rand is 459.76280 cents per ordinary share, based on an
exchange rate of US$1:R16.42010, taken on 29 July 2020.

The payment date of the dividend is Friday, 25 September 2020.
