Ms Langeni’s resignation was necessitated by her recent appointment as the President’s Special Investment Envoy. Libstar thanks Ms Langeni for her valuable input and wishes her the best in her new role. The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sibongile Masinga as an independent non-executive director of Libstar with effect from 14 December 2018. Sibongile will assume the roles of Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and Chairman of the Social and Ethics Committee. Ms Masinga is a co-founder and shareholder of the Afropulse Group, a woman-led investment, investor relations and corporate advisory group. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and has also completed the USA-SA Leadership and Entrepreneurship Programme at the Wharton School of Business. She will be contributing valuable industry-related experience as she currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of the Bidvest Group Limited and Master Plastics Limited.
