FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT RELATING TO THE CHANGE OF NAME
Introduction
Shareholders are referred to the declaration announcement released on SENS on Tuesday, 1 September
2026 and the circular posted to Shareholders on the same date (“Circular”), as well as the announcement
of the results of the general meeting released on SENS on Monday, 5 October 2026, in which Shareholders
were advised that the special resolution approving the change of the Company’s name from “South
Ocean Holdings Limited” to “Cables 4 Africa Holdings Limited” (“Change of Name”) had been passed
by the requisite majority of Shareholders.
Registration of the Change of Name
Shareholders are advised that the special resolution approving the Change of Name was registered by
the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CIPC”) on Thursday, 8 October 2026. Accordingly,
the Change of Name has been finalised.
As registration was obtained earlier than anticipated, the salient dates and times relating to the Change
of Name have been brought forward by one week. The amended salient dates and times are set out in
paragraph 4 below and replace those previously published in the declaration announcement and the
Circular.
Details of the Change of Name
The JSE has approved the Change of Name. With effect from the commencement of trade on
Wednesday, 28 October 2026, the Company’s shares will trade on the JSE under the new name “Cables
4 Africa Holdings Limited”, the new short name “Cables4AF” and the new JSE share code “C4A”. The ISIN
will remain unchanged as ZAE000092748.
The Company will retain its history and will remain listed in the Electronic and Electrical Equipment Sector
on the Main Board of the JSE.

Notes:
1. Shareholders may not dematerialise or rematerialise their Ordinary Shares in SOH after the last day to
trade, being Tuesday, 27 October 2026.
2. All times are South African times as the above dates and actions are in terms of the JSE Corporate
Action timetable.
3. The Company will retain the financial and trading history as well as remain in the same sector on the
JSE post the name change.
