APPOINTMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 6.71 of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements and paragraph 6.42 of the JSE Debt and
Specialist Securities Listings Requirements, shareholders and noteholders are advised of the following change to the Company’s
Board of Directors (“Board”).

The Board is pleased to announce that Mr Vivek Agrawal has been appointed as an Independent non-Executive Director of
Discovery with effect from 2 November 2026.

Mr Agrawal is Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Principal Financial Group. He is responsible for enterprise
sales, strategic growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and business development. Before joining Principal Financial
Group, Mr Agrawal spent more than 20 years as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, focusing on performance
transformation in financial institutions across North America and Asia, with particular expertise in insurance, retirement and
wealth management.

The Board confirms that the appointment of Mr Agrawal was made pursuant to its Nomination of Directors Policy. In
compliance with paragraph 6.73 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Board also confirms that a fit and proper assessment has
been conducted and that the Board is satisfied with the outcome. The Company further confirms that there are no matters
requiring disclosure arising from the integrity information contained in the director’s declaration.
