Notification of the resignation and appointment of a director
In compliance with paragraphs 6.42(b) and 6.43 of the Debt and Specialist Securities Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of Directors of Transsec 4 (RF) Limited (“the Board”) hereby
notifies the noteholders of Altea Spagnuolo-Gerber’s resignation as a director of the company with effect
from 03 September 2026 to pursue alternative career opportunities. Accordingly, Marc Alvey (“Marc”), will
be appointed as a director of the company with effect from the same date.
Marc Alvey is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and currently serves as Group Chief Financial Officer
of Mobalyz. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed
his articles with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg, including an international secondment.
Marc spent over a decade within the FirstRand Group, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of
WesBank's Corporate & Commercial businesses, and previously as Chief Financial Officer of Ashburton
Investments. He subsequently served as Chief Executive Officer of Planet42, a vehicle subscription and
mobility fintech business. He brings experience in asset-backed lending, capital and debt structuring,
financial governance and regulated entity directorship.
The Board extends its gratitude to Altea for her dedication and leadership and wishes her continued
success in her future endeavours. The Board also welcomes Marc as he joins the current Board of
Directors. The Board looks forward to benefiting from his expertise.
