Requirements (“DSS Requirements”) for information purposes, following the JSE approving the listing
by introduction of the participatory interests in the Squirrel Away EasyETFs Balanced Actively Managed
ETF (“Squirrel Away EasyETFs Balanced AMETF”).

The information set out below has been extracted from EasyETFs ETF Programme Memorandum (“the
Programme Memorandum”) issued by the Manager on 18 October 2024 and updated on 02 September
2026 and the 13th Supplement (“the Supplement”) issued on 02 September 2026 and relates to the

    3. Summary of the Listing

3.1 Issue size: 1,000

3.2 Issue price: R10 (1000 Zac)

3.3 Investment Policy:

The Portfolio will be an actively managed exchange traded fund (“AMETF”) listed on the JSE. The
Portfolio’s primary objective is to achieve long-term capital growth and moderate income generation by
investing in a diversified mix of asset classes with a medium exposure to equities. Investments will be
primarily in South African markets, with allowance for selective foreign exposure, subject to applicable
regulatory limits. The Portfolio seeks to deliver a balanced risk-return profile consistent with a medium
equity strategy while managing downside risk through diversification and prudent asset allocation.
The Portfolio will be managed in accordance with the investment limitations applicable to the ASISA
South African Multi Asset Medium Equity portfolio classification category and prudential investment
guidelines consistent with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act, 1956.

The Portfolio will follow a research-driven investment strategy, informed by the Manager’s macro-
economic outlook and market assessments. Investments will include a diversified range of South
African asset classes and participatory interests in portfolios of collective investment schemes that align
with the Portfolio’s objectives, selected through robust due diligence across various sectors and asset
classes. The strategy will seek to achieve a balance between capital growth and income generation
while managing volatility, with an investment risk profile consistent with a medium equity exposure.
To achieve its objective, the Portfolio will invest in a diversified range of South African asset classes,
including equity securities, bonds, listed property and participatory interests in portfolios of collective
investment schemes (including ETFs), consistent with the ASISA South African Multi Asset Medium
Equity portfolio classification category. The Portfolio will maintain a moderate exposure to equities,
balanced with income-generating and defensive asset classes to manage risk and volatility. The assets
in liquid form will consist of cash held in the Portfolio’s bank accounts, short-term deposits, participatory
interests in money market portfolios of collective investment schemes and money market instruments
(in accordance with the Determination of money market assets applicable to such portfolios) for liquidity
management.

The Portfolio may include the following supplementary investments, to the extent that they remain
consistent with the Portfolio’s objective and classification:
•       long-term deposits;
• debentures and securitised debt; and

subject to the conditions set out in applicable legislation.

The Portfolio is permitted to invest in listed and unlisted financial instruments (including warrants,
certificates, and other instruments that acknowledge, confer, or create, rights to subscribe to, acquire,
dispose of, or convert, securities and instruments) for efficient portfolio management purposes,
including hedging, risk reduction, and efficient exposure management, subject to the conditions set out
in the Act and applicable subordinate legislation. For the avoidance of doubt, such financial instruments
do not form part of the portfolio’s core investment strategy.

The Portfolio is permitted to invest in foreign assets, subject to applicable legislation.

The Portfolio may also include participatory interests or any other form of participation in portfolios of
collective investment schemes or other similar schemes. In addition, the Portfolio may invest in
exchange traded funds or exchange traded notes, whether organised as a portfolio of a collective
investment scheme or not, subject to the conditions of the Act. Where such schemes are operated
outside South Africa, investments will only be made where the regulatory environment is considered by
the Manager and Trustee to provide investor protection equivalent to that afforded under South African
legislation.
