Further update on the delay in the publication of the annual reporting documents for the year ended 30 June 2025

FURTHER UPDATE REGARDING THE DELAY IN THE PUBLICATION OF THE ANNUAL
REPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2025
Bondholders are referred to the previous announcements published on SENS, the most recent of which
was published on Friday, 27 February 2026, regarding the delay in the submission of the City's
Annual Reporting Documents to the JSE in compliance with paragraph 6.5 of the JSE Debt and
Specialist Securities Listings Requirements (the "Delay"), as well as the announcement published by
the JSE Limited on SENS on Friday, 27 March 2026 advising bondholders of the Delay and its decision
to suspend, with immediate effect, the listing of the City's debt securities and the registration of its
placing document (the "Suspension").
Bondholders are hereby advised that the City continues to meet all its financial obligations as they fall
due. The Delay and the subsequent Suspension arise from a technical compliance matter relating to
reporting timelines and do not reflect any financial distress or instability. The City has prioritised the
integrity and accuracy of its financial reporting processes to ensure full compliance with applicable
regulatory requirements.
The City further confirms that the Annual Reporting Documents are currently expected to be tabled and
thereafter submitted to the JSE and published by no later than 31 May 2026. Following such submission
and publication, it is expected that the JSE will lift the Suspension.
Bondholders will be kept informed of any material developments in this regard.
