DISCLOSURE OF A CHANGE IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN TELKOM SECURITIES

In accordance with Section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, (No 71 of 2008) as amended ("Companies Act") and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Telkom has received
formal notification in terms of section 122(1) of the Companies Act that Public Investment Corporation SOC Limited ("PIC")
has disposed a beneficial interest in the securities of the Company, such that the total interest in the ordinary shares of
the Company held by PIC, on behalf of its clients, now amounts to 9.949%.

The Board of Telkom ("Board") accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement and confirms
that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, such information is true and this announcement does not omit anything
likely to affect the importance of such information. The Board has relied on the accuracy of the information contained in
the notification received from PIC in making this statement.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Telkom has filed the required notices with the Takeover
Regulation Panel.
