NEW BOARD APPOINTMENT

In accordance with paragraph 6.39(a) of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements, FRB wishes to inform
noteholders of the appointment of Ms Premilla (Shireen) Devi Naidoo, as an independent non-executive director
to the board of directors with effect from 1 April 2022.

Ms Naidoo has a BSc (Chemistry and Maths) from the University of South Africa. She has 30 years’ extensive
international and multi-sector experience in the fields of health, safety, environment and sustainability. She spent
the greater part of her career at KPMG, where she was a partner in the climate change and sustainability unit,
which she was instrumental in setting up. FRB confirms that the appointment of Ms Naidoo was done in accordance
with the bank’s policy for the selection and nomination of non-executive directors.

Ms Naidoo’s appointment adds further environmental, social, governance and sustainability skills to the board.

The group welcomes Ms Naidoo and looks forward to her valuable contribution to the board.
