These appointments are in accordance with the mandatory audit firm rotation rule issued by the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA). FirstRand Bank committed to informing noteholders once the decision was made on which of the current joint audit firms, Deloitte & Touch (Deloitte) or PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc (PWC) would rotate off the FRB audit for the financial years ending 30 June 2024 and 30 June 2026 years respectively.
