Motus directors and prescribed officers continue to participate in the Imperial Holdings Share Appreciation Rights (“SAR”) Scheme in terms of awards made prior to the unbundling. The SARs were awarded on 21 June 2017, at a grant price of R152.65 and participants have until 30 June 2022 to exercise their rights. On the SAR exercise date, the appreciation in each SAR is calculated by deducting the grant price from the exercise price (“Appreciation Value”). This exercise price is the combined market value of a Motus and Imperial share on the business day immediately preceding the exercise date.
