CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE

In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the board of directors of Old Mutual (Board) is pleased
to announce that Ms Funke Ighodaro has, in terms of the Board’s succession plan, been appointed as Chairperson of
Old Mutual's Audit Committee, effective 1 November 2021.

Ms Nosipho Molope, the current chairperson of the Audit Committee, will have served on the Board for 9 consecutive
years on 31 October 2021 and will, to ensure an orderly transfer of the role, remain on the Board and its relevant
subcommittees (including the Audit Committee) until the next AGM in May 2022.

The Board wishes to thank Ms Molope for her sterling leadership of the Audit Committee and contribution to the
Group, and congratulates Ms Ighodaro in respect of her succession to the role, which was confirmed by the Board at
its meeting on 27 August 2021.

Ms Ighodaro is a Fellow of the Institute of chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is an accredited
member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). She is a former CFO of Tiger Brands Limited
and Primedia Limited, and previously served as executive director of Barloworld Limited and 9mobile (Nigeria’s fourth
largest Telco). She founded and led the private equity business of the Kagiso Trust Investment Group.

She is currently the audit and risk committee chair of Massmart Holdings Limited and serves as independent non-
executive director of Telkom SOC Limited, Sabvest Capital Limited and Ascential Plc, where she is also a member of
the audit and remuneration committees. Previously Ms Ighodaro served as audit and risk committee chair of
Transaction Capital Limited and has also served as independent non-executive director and audit and risk committee
member of Datatec Limited and as an independent member of the Cell C investment committee.
