Ms Fakude, age 56, is the Anglo American plc Group Director – South Africa and chair Anglo American’s South African management board. From April 2017 to August 2019 she serves as a non-executive director of the Board of Anglo American plc. A former executive director and executive vice president of strategy and sustainability at Sasol Limited until 2016. She was recently appointed President of the Minerals Council of South Africa. Ms Michaud, age 54, is the Anglo American plc Group Director – Corporate Relations and Sustainable Impact. Her remit includes corporate communication (including brand and employee engagement), international and government relations, social performance and engagement, sustainability integration to drive positive impact from the Group’s Sustainable Mining Plan.
