Announcement of MTN Capital Markets Day (CMD) presentation for 4 June 2021

MTN will host a virtual CMD today at 09.00 Central African Time. This follows
the annual financial results announcement released on the Johannesburg Stock
Exchange (JSE) on 10 March 2021, where MTN introduced its revised strategy –
‘Ambition 2025’.

During the CMD presentation, the Group President and executive management team
will provide more details on the abovementioned strategy, the implementation
thereof, as well as highlight the progress made to date.

Commenting on the CMD, MTN Group President and CEO, Ralph Mupita said; “We are
excited about hosting this virtual CMD, and providing investors and other
stakeholders with more insight into our Ambition 2025 strategy. We are very
focused on driving growth, faster de-leveraging of the Holdco balance sheet
and unlocking value inherent in our infrastructure assets and platforms”.
