Doug (BA Accountancy & Finance, CA) has served in various positions within The Foschini Group Limited (“TFG”) and was appointed to the TFG operating board of directors in 1997 and to the board of directors of Foschini Limited in 2007. He served as chief executive officer of TFG until his retirement in 2018. Doug is currently a non-executive director on the board of Foschini Limited and a director of The Foschini Group London and Retail Apparel Group Australia, subsidiary boards of TFG. Doug will be appointed as a member of both the audit committee and the remuneration committee of Equites.
