PLANT COMMISSIONING PROGRESS

Renergen is pleased to update shareholders on the progress being made in commissioning of
the Phase 1 plant, further to the announcement made 3 May 2022. The progress thus far includes:

   • Cooling systems are fully commissioned
   • Nitrogen removal system to purify the helium is commissioned
   • All water systems are commissioned
   • All the LNG Cryogenic vacuum jacketed pipelines have been checked and pre-cooled and
       are ready for use
   • Helium cryogenic vacuum jacketed pipelines have been checked
   • All Digital control systems signals and communication have been checked and are
       completed
   • Safety systems installed and are being continually tested
   • All rotating equipment has undergone final preparations for commencement of operation

The remaining key activities on site are as follows:

   • Helium vacuum jacketed pipelines to be pre-cooled in preparation for ready for use
   • Flushing and cleaning the amine wash, a component used to remove carbon-dioxide from
       the gas
   • Rotating equipment tested with nitrogen
   • Mixed refrigerant circulation testing
   • Storage tanks pre-cooling
   • Commercial operation

In order to ensure safe operating procedures, the commissioning team have elected not to put
combustible gas through the system until it is ready for commercial operation, but rather to
complete the commissioning with nitrogen as it is inert and significantly reduces the risk of fires
or explosions.

Our customer sites are simultaneously being prepared in parallel to receive the liquefied natural
gas (LNG), and so the commercial operation date will be timed to coincide to ensure the tanks
are filled and LNG is ready to be received; this will ensure that the plant doesn’t need to be turned
off again, allowing for uninterrupted operations to ensue.

Throughout the commissioning Quality Assurance and Quality Control remains a key focus, along
with safety, and in this regard several key enhancements have been identified and implemented.

“After 32 months of construction everyone is really excited for the imminent turn-on but being so
close to the finish line means we need to be ultra-cautious to turn on for the right reasons and not
risk having to turn it off again for whatever reason. I can confidently say that we have had no
surprises during hot commissioning and testing has given us comfort that the plant should operate
as designed,” said Stefano Marani, CEO.
