VOLUNTARY UPDATE: IMPACT OF FLOODING IN KWA-ZULU NATAL


As widely reported, heavy rainfall and extensive flooding were experienced in KwaZulu-Natal on the
11th and 12th of April 2022, with devastating effects.

Shareholders are advised that KAP did not experience any material property or plant damage as a result
of the flooding. The Company’s operations in the region have experienced some temporary operational
and supply chain disruptions, which are in the process of being resolved. These events are not expected
to have a meaningful impact on the Company’s results or financial position.

The Company will continue to assist affected communities and to participate in restoration efforts, where
appropriate. We extend our sincere condolences to those who have lost loved ones during this time.
