APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Phumzile Langeni as an independent Non-Executive
Director of WHL with effect from 1 April 2022. Phumzile’s appointment, which the Board confirms was made
in accordance with the WHL Appointment of Directors Policy, supplements the skills on the Board and
Committees. She will also serve on the Risk and Compliance and Audit Committees of the Group.

Phumzile is an experienced non-executive director who holds and has held various directorships in other
listed and unlisted companies. She has extensive expertise across various industries, including retail, financial
services, logistics, packaging and property.

A stockbroker by training, Phumzile is a co-founder and executive chairman of Afropulse Group (Pty) Ltd, an
unlisted investment and corporate advisory house. She is also the Chairman of Imperial Logistics Limited and
Metrofile Holdings Limited.

The Board welcomes Ms Langeni to the Group and looks forward to her contribution.
