DISCONTINUATION OF CHEQUE PAYMENTS

Shareholders of Quantum Foods (“Shareholders”) are referred to the joint announcement by the South African
Reserve Bank, Financial Sector Conduct Authority, Payments Association of South Africa and the Banking Association
South Africa, published on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, wherein it was advised that with effect from Thursday,
31 December 2020 the usage of cheques as a form of payment will be discontinued and South African banks will not
accept any cheques for deposit or encashment.

Accordingly, Shareholders who ordinarily receive payment of cash distributions from the Company (“Distributions”)
by cheque or who have not previously provided the Company with South African bank account details (“Affected
Shareholders”), are required to provide the Company’s transfer secretaries (Computershare Investor Services
Proprietary Limited), their central securities depository participant (CSDP) or broker, with details of their nominated
South African bank account for purposes of future payments by the Company of any Distributions (“Bank Account
Nomination”).

Shareholders are advised that if any Affected Shareholder fails to make a Bank Account Nomination, then any future
Distributions payable to such Affected Shareholder will be held in trust by the Company until such time as the Affected
Shareholder has made the Bank Account Nomination.
