UPDATE REGARDING THE DEALINGS IN SPEAR SECURITIES PURSUANT TO THE
DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN

Shareholders are referred to the announcement regarding the dealings in Spear securities
pursuant to the dividend reinvestment alternative (“Reinvestment Alternative”) released by
the Company on SENS on 25 November 2020 (“Dealings Announcement”).

Shareholders are hereby advised that the number of shares taken up by Michael Naftali Flax
(“Michael Flax”) through his associate, Fronsac Investments Limited (“Associate”), as
disclosed in the Dealings Announcement contained an error as a result of dividend withholding
tax not being applied. Accordingly, the correct number of shares taken up by Michael Flax,
through his Associate, pursuant to the Reinvestment Alternative was 1 096 060 ordinary
shares in the issued share capital of Spear for a total consideration of R4 884 650, net of
dividend withholding tax.

Save for the above, all other information disclosed in the Dealings Announcement remain
unchanged.
