TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of rule 3.4(b) of the listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to
publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial
results for the next reporting period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the
previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, for Total Operations for the year ended 30 June 2020 earnings per share is expected to
be between 203,5 cents and 212,1 cents and headline earnings per share is expected to be between
201,6 cents and 210, 2 cents which is between 17% and 22% higher compared to earnings per share
of 173,9 cents and headline earnings per share of 172,3 cents for the year ended 30 June 2019.
For Continuing Operations for the year ended 30 June 2020 earnings per share is expected to be
between 278,4 cents and 287,9 cents and headline earnings per share is expected to be between
276,1 cents and 285,5 cents which is between 47% and 52% higher compared to earnings per share
of 189,4 cents and headline earnings per share of 187,8 cents for the year ended 30 June 2019.
The information on which this announcement has been based has not been reviewed or reported on
by the company’s auditors.
The year end results for to 30 June 2020 are expected to be released on SENS on 1 September 2020.
