Change in Directorate

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of
directors of Santam Limited ("the Board") hereby notifies its shareholders that Ian Kirk (“Ian”) has
resigned as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 June 2020.

Ian has served on the board since June 2007 and also served as CEO of the Company from June
2007 until December 2014. He has contributed significantly to the success of Santam during the
period of his tenure. Management and the Board wish to thank Ian for his dedicated contribution to
the Group. We wish him continued success in the future.
