Further operational update on COVID-19 and the impact on Brikor

Shareholders are referred to the operational update released on SENS on 31 March 2020.

As stated previously, Brikor supports the measures that the South African government has
implemented to contain the Covid-19 virus during this very difficult and unprecedented time in
our country and the global economy.

Brikor has been able to supply coal during Level 5 lockdown through its wholly owned
subsidiary Ilangabi Investments 12 (Pty) Ltd (“Ilangabi”). Ilangabi moved to 100% capacity
under allowable coal mining and sales in Level 4.

From 1 May 2020, Brick sales and distribution resumed in a phased-in approach under level
4 with limited distribution and sales activity. Brikor has a healthy outstanding order book and
anticipates substantial increase in activity once the lockdown moves to Level 3.

Brikor Disaster Management Group are in regular contact via electronic means to implement,
update and ensure Brikor operates under strict COVID-19 Rules and Regulations.

Although the lock down has had an adverse effect on its revenue and profits, the Group
remains sustainable and in a strong liquidity position.

Shareholders will be kept up to date on the impact of COVID-19.
