Operational update on COVID-19 and the impact on Etion

Etion supports the measures that the South African government has implemented to contain
the Covid-19 virus. The Group has taken robust steps over the past few weeks to keep all
employees healthy and safe.

Etion’s Executive Management team led by its GCEO are in constant contact with all levels
of management including health and safety service providers as well as all logistics
providers to manage the operational impacts of the Covid 19 virus.

Etion Secure (LAWTrust) and Etion Connect, wholly owned subsidiaries within the Group,
have been identified as essential suppliers during the lockdown period. More specifically, Etion
Secure is a critical service provider to the Department of Home Affairs and the financial
services sector. Etion Connect continues to provide support to the various players in the
telecommunications industry.

While the effects of the COVID-19 virus on our business are continually being reassessed, the
full impact of the 21-day nationwide lockdown announced on 23 March 2020 remains
unknown.

Shareholders will be kept up to date on the impact of COVID-19.
