Notification of change in auditor

Shareholders are hereby advised that in terms of paragraph 3.78 of the JSE Listings Requirements that
PriceWaterhouseCooper Inc (PWC) have been appointed as the Company’s external auditor, with Mr
Keeran Ramnarian as designated audit partner for the financial year ending 30 June 2020, replacing Ernst
and Young (EY). The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the Company’s upcoming annual
general meeting.

The change in the audit firm was initiated by the Company to comply with the Independent Regulatory
Board for Auditors’ (IRBA), procedure which requires a Company to rotate its external auditor if a firm has
served as the appointed auditor for 10 or more consecutive financial years before the financial year
commencing on or after 01 April 2023. EY has been the Company’s external auditor since listing in 2008,
hence the decision by the Company to implement the rotation for the 30 June 2020 financial year.

The change in audit firm will be effective 22 November 2019 and is subject to shareholder approval at the
Company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
