TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that there is a reasonable
degree of certainty that the financial results for the next reporting period will differ by more
than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.

Headline earnings per share for the year ended 31 March 2018 are expected to be between
1% and 18% higher at 68.41 and 82.34 cents per share than the 69.6 cents per share reported
for the previous corresponding period.

Loss per share for the 12 months ended 31 March 2018 is expected to be between 394% and
414% lower at a loss of between 199.81 cents per share and a loss of 213.41 cents per share
than the 68 cents earnings per share reported for the previous corresponding period.

The loss per share relates to various South African impairments which were fully disclosed in
the interim results released on 13 November 2017.

The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s external
auditors. It is anticipated that the audited results for the year ended 31 March 2018 are to be
published on SENS on or about 29 June 2018.
